....Initially, as a sonically concerned drummer, Tim took a keen interest in the recording process, mastering 4 and 8 track home recorders and taking the whole 'demo' process (as was often required in the 80's) to a great level. Paralleled to this self-experimentation with sound was a thorough education in the land of "major" studio's and international record-making and production. Throughout the 80's as a member of synth romantic rock band 'The Venetians', Tim had the good fortune to have Festival Recording Studio's as an 'audio' playground with a multitude of local and overseas producers and engineers to learn from, for example;Vic Coppersmith Heaven (The Jam, Peter Gabriel Rolling Stones), Mark Goldenberg (Jewel, Natalie Imbruglia, Linda Ronstadt) and Mark Opitz (INXS, Angels, Divinyls). - It was an easy and natural progression from the drum stool to the producers chair.
